크레토스와 페이의 정사 이야기는?
Kratos met Faye, the Jötunn Laufey, after leaving Greece and reaching the Norse lands. The games have not shown their first meeting in full, so an exact place, date and courtship remain unconfirmed.
They married, lived in a secluded Midgard home and raised Atreus together. Faye knew more about Kratos, their son and prophecy than she disclosed, but the memories in Ragnarök show a genuine family relationship.
Before her death, Faye marked the trees for her funeral pyre. That request began the 2018 journey, revealed Atreus as Loki and pushed Kratos toward becoming a different father and god.

Visual evidence and family legacy
Three distinct first-party visual points support Faye’s identity and legacy.

Faye as her own protagonist
The 2026 material presents Faye as a warrior with a story beyond being Kratos’ wife.

The Leviathan Axe legacy
The axe links Faye’s earlier life to Kratos’ journey and the family responsibilities passed forward.
두 사람은 어떻게 만났고 무엇이 미확정인가?
Search results often turn fan reconstructions into facts. Canon confirms that the relationship began after Kratos' Greek life, but no released scene gives their complete first conversation or a precise year.
Faye understood Kratos' divine nature and violent past more deeply than he realized. Kratos did not initially know her full Jötunn identity or how much she understood about prophecy.
The secrecy does not make their marriage false. Ragnarök memories show warmth, disagreement and mutual influence. Faye challenged Kratos to choose rather than surrender to fate, while their family gave him a reason to change.
The 2026 God of War Laufey material may add prequel context. Until new first-party scenes appear, promotional clues should not be expanded into an invented romance timeline.
Primary sources and canon boundaries
God of War (2018), God of War Ragnarök and current official PlayStation material provide the evidence. No official source yet shows the complete first meeting.
